I designed and fabricated my own tuning stand strong enough to withstand forming blank shells from flat sheets.
This is a hydroformed shell in the rings during the tuning process
Once marked out, the note fields are hammered into a shape that can carry three resonant harmonics, the fundamental, the octave and the fifth.
